Tesla again rises above the din. Based on Consumer Reports’ surveys of 121,000 service customers, the satisfaction ranking goes like this:

Remember, Tesla has stated that it doesn’t want to profit from service — only sales. That’s a nice psychological boost for customers, yes? Plus, a Tesla service center looks/smells nothing like a normal one. The cars are quite inorganic. Think smartphone repair. And Tesla tends to send “rangers” to your location when possible, and delivers loaners etc. Will this continue unaltered when Tesla’s sales volume grows exponentially — as plotted by Musk et al? Or will Tesla service centers get all greasy and shifty-eyed?
